The Center for Jewish Impact participated in the South Program IV of the Council of Europe, comprised of senior representatives from the Middle East and North Africa, which is generally focusing on promoting human rights and the rule of law.
During this gathering, which deliberated on the issues of preventing violence against women and economic crime, the Center was represented by Adv. Tom Gal, a PhD candidate from the University of Geneva and an expert on international law.
As part of her address, Tom mentioned the leading role that Israel is demonstrating in the Knesset, by passing laws that help prevent violence against women.
