Agreement between the University of Tirana and Bar-Ilan University
On June 18, 2021, the University of Tirana and Bar-Ilan University signed an agreement facilitating the academic exchange and collaboration of both academic institutions. The exchange is focused on the field of science and includes research, training, and international activities and was signed by the rector of the University of Tirana Professor Artan Hoxha and Bar-Ilan deputy president Professor Moshe Lewenstein.
Partnership with Israel National Football Team
Ahead of the opening whistle of the upcoming friendly match in Lisbon between Israel and Portugal, the President of the Israeli Football Association, Oren Hasson, presented Israel's national team jersey to the President of Comunidade Israelita de Lisboa, Dr. Jose Carp, in demonstration of support from the Football Association to the Portuguese Jewish community.

In our first segment we interview former member of Knesset for the labor party, Professor Yossi Yona about his family's history immigrating to Israel from Iraq. What do Israelis think of the diaspora?
As part of our work at the Center for Jewish Impact we seek to strengthen Israel’s relationship with the worldwide Jewish community and to complement the efforts of Israel’s Government in bridging the divide between Israel and the wider world. With that in mind we commissioned a poll to try and understanding how Israelis view the diaspora so we can better strengthen the relationship between Israel and the diaspora.

Childhood in the Shadow of the Holocaust
Wednesday 07/04/20, on the Eve Holocaust Remembrance Day, the opening event of the brave together and the Center for Jewish Impact was launched. During the event we heard testimony from survivor Arie Pinsker, born in Romania, who told his personal story 'Child in the shadow of the Holocaust.'

In commemoration of the devastating tragedy of Babyn Yar, and on the occasion of Yom HaShoah, we are pleased to support the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine and the Memorial Center for Holocaust “Babyn Yar”, under the support of Yad Vashem, for the publication of the book “The Righteous Among the Nations in Ukraine."

Special Online Briefing on COVID-19 Vaccination in Israel
Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 - The Center for Jewish Impact, in cooperation with Bar-Ilan University held a special online briefing on COVID-19 and the vaccine campaign in Israel. World-renowned experts in virology, immunology and epidemiology delivered a virtual briefing on COVID-19 and Israel's ongoing vaccination campaign to an audience that included hundreds of health ministry representatives and members of the Jewish community from around the world.

On Monday, December 14, 2020 on the 5th night of Chanukah, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv Basketball Club joined the Center for Jewish Impact, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Bitola/Monastir Jewish Heritage Foundation to commemorate the Jewish community of North Macedonia which was destroyed during the Holocaust.

The Center for Jewish Impact represented Israel on November 23, 2020 in "South Program IV" of the Council of Europe, showcasing Israel's prominent role in protecting human rights and women's rights.
2020 Balkans Forum Against Anti-Semitism
The Center for Jewish Impact co-sponsored of the 2020 Balkans Forum Against Anti-Semitism, which took place on October 28, 2020.
The Forum brought together the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, the President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, Speakers of the Parliaments of Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro, Speaker of Knesset, Yariv Levin and more.
