Statement by Robert Singer, Chairman of the Center for Jewish Impact

"I have known EU Antisemitism Special Envoy, Katharina von Schnurbein for many years—together we helped to save the only Jewish school in Kyrgyzstan and were instrumental in the process of co-founding the Special Envoys Forum against Antisemitism when I served as CEO of WJC. Throughout her service, she has acted with integrity, professionalism, and deep commitment to Jewish life.

The accusations of “bias” against her are both unfounded and dangerous. Recognizing that hostility toward Israel fuels antisemitism in Europe is not partiality—it is fact, confirmed daily by Jewish communities themselves.

To attack Ms. von Schnurbein for defending Jewish dignity and security is to undermine the very credibility of Europe’s fight against antisemitism. The Center for Jewish Impact based in Israel stands firmly with her, grateful for her courage and clarity at a time when both are urgently needed."
