The Center for Jewish Impact has released new findings from the Israeli Society Barometer, a survey project designed to capture Israeli public opinion during periods of significant social and geopolitical change.

This edition reflects a particularly dynamic moment. Most of the survey was conducted in mid to late February, capturing attitudes during a period of rising regional tension. Two additional questions were fielded immediately after the confrontation with Iran began, offering a snapshot of Israeli public opinion both before and during the early days of the conflict.

The findings highlight a combination of resilience and realism among the Israeli public. While many Israelis express concern about the months ahead and most do not expect life to become easier in the near term, a strong majority still believes that Israeli society can remain cohesive despite current challenges.

The survey also explores how Israelis view the future of the region. Even amid confrontation with Iran, many respondents are already considering possible long term developments. A significant portion believe the current confrontation could ultimately lead to political change in Iran and potentially open the door to future relations between the two societies.

Another key theme emerging from the data is the relationship between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide. A clear majority of respondents believe Israel should actively support Jewish communities in the diaspora, both by encouraging aliyah and by helping safeguard their security at a time of rising antisemitism globally.

The full findings can be explored below.
