Today our executive director, Sonia Gomes de Mesquita, met with the Moroccan Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Abderrahim Beyyoudh, and with the mayor of Kiryat Ono, Mr. Israel Tal, and his deputy, Mr. Ron Malka.

The meeting began with a discussion on the extensive relationship between the Jewish Moroccan communities, as well as their rich history and contemporary contribution of Jewish Morocco. The Moroccan Jewish community is a living bridge between our countries and societies.
In the future we look forward to coordinating an interfaith, co-existence and tolerance forum to be hosted annually, first in the city of Kiryat Ono. The forum will focus on religious tolerance.
